Easy E-Receipt 2.0 (Shop Dee Mee Khuen) What Can You Buy for Tax Deduction in 2025?

What is Easy E-Receipt 2.0?

• A tax deduction measure announced by the Revenue Department on December 24, 2024
• Applicable to purchases of goods/services in Thailand between Jan 16 – Feb 28, 2025
• Deductible up to 50,000 THB

Who can you buy from to get the benefit?

1. VAT-registered businesses – deductible up to 30,000 THB
2. Special product/service groups (additional deduction up to 20,000 THB), such as:
   • OTOP products registered with the Community Development Department
   • Community enterprises registered with the Department of Agricultural Extension
   • Social enterprises registered with the Office of Social Enterprise Promotion

Who is eligible?

Only individual taxpayers are eligible (excluding ordinary partnerships / unincorporated groups of persons).

Expenses NOT deductible

• Alcoholic beverages (spirits, beer, wine)
• Tobacco
• Fuel, gas, electricity, water supply, telephone, internet
• Cars, motorcycles, boats
• Accommodation: hotels, homestays
• Non-life insurance premiums
• Tourism/tour packages
• Gift cards, prepaid cards (but if used for actual purchases within the program period, they qualify)

What is an e-Tax Invoice & e-Receipt?

It is an electronic tax invoice and receipt, digitally signed with an Electronic Certificate, compliant with Revenue Department standards. Purchase information will be automatically sent to your My Tax Account.
